Great Beer - Great Food - Great Time

Alton Beer Festival

The Alton Beer Festival is organised by two fabulous local heroes, Peter and Ysanne Legg.  They have been involved from the very beginning and have driven the success of the festival by committing a huge amount of time and enthusiasm.

20-21 February

What Happened

Thank you to all of you who came.  We had a fabulous time entertained by Beat Route, Black Sheep and Key Lime Pi, plus check your hat as the Gully gully Man was on top form.  The Four Marks Scouts and  Alton Balti House served great food all evening and through your ability to sup a large amount of beer and cider you raised over £11,000 for local charities.

Those that remembered to vote decided that the beer of the festival was Banks & Taylor’s Plum Mild.

Thank you and see you at the end of May

Never been to a festival before?  Its not all beards, sandals and drunks.  Alton Beer Festival is a friendly festival, its focus is drinking for charity.  If you want to know more about beer ask one of the servers, try something different, sample some cider, try a beer from a different part of the country,  apple juice is free, food is great and music adds to the atmosphere.  On your own, home alone?  Come along and meet people having a fabulous time.

All festivals are ticketless, buy on line when ordering is open and bring your PayPal Invoice as proof of purchase.  If you look young please bring your Proof of Age or we can’t let you in.
