Whilst having all that fun and drinking many barrels of excellent beers your tickets and tokens raised £7,500 which will go to local charities helping local people.  We’ll announce the charities supported from the Winter funds at the beginning of May.

Slaphead Shield

Our thanks also go the super breweries featured inside the cover of the programme who make an extra special effort in their support of the festival.  A tight contest for the Slaphead Shield and the local brewer Triple fff won again. We’ll have to check how many staff they bring along!!  Check the results over the years here and make sure your vote counts at the Summer Festival.

Venue

Alton College is a superb venue for the Festivals and in the summer, under a blue sky and sunshine the outside space will be teaming with happy beer and cider drinkers, those enjoying a local wine tipple and the superb traditional English cuisine from O’Connor’s Secret Garden, tasty curries from the Alton Balti House and Alton’s Bubble and Squeak.
